Hi there, I'm Justin Cooley. I am a Mobile, Alabama native and graduate of Mattie T. Blount High School. I received my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Tuskegee University and my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instructional Design from Athens State University. I am also a Army veteran. I have been in the educational field for over 16 years. My passion and purpose is to help students understand Mathematics. Over the years, I have grown to understand the difficult challenges students face in learning and more importantly, understanding math. Being a life-long learner myself, I took the challenges students had and created a different, yet effective approach to tutoring this complex subject. I recently worked as the Coordinator of the Learning Assistance Center at Bishop State Community College in Mobile Alabama. I coordinated the institution's Initial Placement Testing, Residual ACT, and all Tutoring Services that Bishop State offers. I was also an adjunct Math Instructor when my services were needed. I currently work as a Instructional Designer and Curriculum Development Manager with the U.S. Air Force. |
