Hi there, I'm Justin Cooley. I’m a proud native of Mobile, Alabama and a graduate of Mattie T. Blount High School. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Tuskegee University and later completed a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instructional Design from Athens State University. I’m also a U.S. Army veteran with over 20 years of experience in the field of education. My passion lies in helping students truly understand mathematics. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges many learners face when trying to grasp mathematical concepts. As a lifelong learner myself, I’ve used those experiences to develop a more adaptive and effective approach to tutoring—one that meets students where they are and builds lasting understanding. I previously served as the Coordinator of the Learning Assistance Center at Bishop State Community College in Mobile, where I oversaw the institution’s placement testing, Residual ACT administration, and all tutoring services. I also served as an adjunct mathematics instructor when needed. Professionally, I transitioned from working as an Instructional Designer and Curriculum Development Manager with the U.S. Air Force to my current role as an Operational Analyst, a position I’ve held for the past two years. In this capacity, I apply data-driven solutions to improve training efficiency, student accountability, and mission readiness across the organization. |
